Height is one of the deepest hardwired drives a cat has — it's where they feel safe, in control, and completely at ease. Most cats discover the hammock within the first day simply because the window draws them there naturally. If your cat is hesitant at first, placing a familiar blanket or a small treat on the surface for the first few days is usually enough to get her comfortable.
