Your cat watches the world go by. Now she has somewhere worthy to do it from.

Cats are hardwired to seek high ground. It's where they feel safe, in control, and completely at ease. The Carl & Earl Aerial Hammock mounts directly to any window — no tools, no drilling, no permanent changes to your home. Just suction, steel, and somewhere she'll never want to leave.

Why cats love it:

  • The best seat in the house — elevated window position satisfies the natural instinct to observe from height
  • Built to hold — reinforced metal wire frame and heavy-duty suction cups rated to support up to 40lbs
  • Generously sized — 21" × 12" sleeping surface fits most cats comfortably, including larger breeds
  • Comfortable all day — durable oxford cloth surface, soft enough for long naps, easy to wipe clean
  • Goes up in minutes — suction cup mount requires no tools, no drilling, no damage to walls or windows
  • Works on any window — clean flat glass surface is all it needs

Specs: Sleeping surface: 21" × 12" Wire drop: 26" Weight capacity: 40lbs Materials: Oxford cloth, metal wire, heavy-duty suction cups

In the box: 1x Carl & Earl Aerial Hammock · Hardware included

Why Cats Actually Use It

It's not comfort. It's instinct.

Elevation Triggers Safety in the Wild

Cats evolved to seek high ground — in the wild, height means safety, control, and the ability to see threats before they arrive. A perch on the floor satisfies nothing. A perch at window height satisfies everything.

A Surface Built Around How Cats Rest

Cats need somewhere that holds their weight without shifting, flexing, or creaking. The reinforced metal wire frame and heavy-duty suction cups hold up to 40lbs so she settles in completely, without hesitation.

Works With the Window, Not Against It

Carl & Earl uses heavy-duty twist-lock suction cups that grip clean flat glass without tools, drilling, or damage. No permanent changes to your home. No anxiety every time she jumps up.

Happy cats, happy customers.

"Really impressed with the build quality. Feels solid and secure, nothing like the flimsy ones I've tried before. The suction cups haven't budged once and my cat is not small."

"Wasn't sure my cats would even go near it. Within an hour they were both fighting over who got the window spot. Wish I'd bought one sooner."

Frequently asked questions

Will the suction cups actually hold?

Yes — and we engineered them specifically because this is the number one concern with any window perch. The Carl & Earl Aerial Hammock uses heavy-duty twist-lock suction cups rated to hold up to 40lbs on any clean, flat glass surface. The twist-lock mechanism creates a compression seal that standard push-on suction cups can't match. For best results mount on clean, dry, flat glass and press each cup firmly before twisting to lock. We recommend checking the cups periodically in warm or humid environments where glass expansion can slightly affect hold.

Will my cat actually use it or ignore it like everything else?

Cats ignore things that don't satisfy an instinct. They don't ignore elevated window positions. Height is one of the deepest hardwired drives a cat has — it's where they feel safe, in control, and completely at ease. Most cats discover the hammock within the first day simply because the window draws them there naturally. If your cat is hesitant at first, placing a familiar blanket or a small treat on the surface for the first few days is usually enough to get her comfortable.

Is it hard to install?

It takes about five minutes and requires zero tools. Find a clean flat window, press each suction cup firmly against the glass, and twist to lock. The wire frame adjusts to hold the sleeping surface at the right height and angle automatically. No drilling, no screws, no permanent changes to your home. If you can press and twist, you can install it.

What windows does it work on?

Any clean, flat glass surface. Standard single or double pane windows, sliding glass doors, and floor to ceiling glass panels all work perfectly. It does not work on textured, frosted, or curved glass surfaces as the suction cups need full contact with a smooth flat surface to create a proper seal.

Will it damage my window or wall?

No. The suction cup mount leaves zero marks, residue, or damage on glass. There is no drilling, no adhesive, and no permanent hardware involved. It installs and removes cleanly without any trace, which also makes it easy to move between windows or take down for cleaning.

How much weight can it really hold?

Up to 40lbs. The reinforced metal wire frame and heavy-duty suction cups are both rated and tested to that capacity. For context, even large breeds like Maine Coons and Ragdolls typically fall well within that range. If your cat is above 40lbs we'd gently suggest the weight limit is the least of your concerns.

What if my cat is too big or too small?

The 21 x 12 inch sleeping surface comfortably fits most cats including larger breeds. The hammock sits flush and stable regardless of where your cat positions herself on it, so smaller cats have just as much security as larger ones. The 40lb weight capacity means almost any domestic cat can use it safely and confidently.

What if my cat doesn't like it?

We offer 60-day returns, no questions asked. But in our experience the cats who don't immediately take to window perches are almost always ones who just need a few days to discover it on their own terms. Cats don't like being introduced to things — they like stumbling across them. Put it up, leave it alone, and let her find it herself. Most owners are surprised how quickly that happens.
